Hypertext and WikiWikiFever I've always been a big fan of hypertext (well, since I first came across it in the late 1980's). My degree project (1991) was a hypertext browser, using a very basic mark up similar to (but preceeding) html - I used "%text%filename%" to form links. The original" article on Hypertext was written in 1945: AsWeMayThink by VannevarBush. TedNelson also has a claim: see http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_1581000/1581891.stm I'm currently suffering from WikiWikiFever. Are you intrigued? |
