Some of the best bits of Glastonbury are the quiter bits, the cafe's and chai tents (Manic Organic, Henry's Beard, The Tiny Tea Tent, Nutters, Sanctuary, and others less well known), green arts and crafts (sculpture, caved coins, the other Eden, a big wooden dragon, a giant rhino made from wattle and daub).

Lost Vagueness was very busy this (2nd) year and was well and truely discovered by the punters who normally stay in Babylon. No subterranean piano bar could be found despite extensive searches.

Bands/speakers/comedians I saw included: REM, Tony Benn and Roy Bailey, Seize The Day, Mark Thomas, John Otway, Atila The Stockbroker, The Ozric Tentacles (briefly), Sharon Shannon.

Overall, it was a great festival, less busy than Glastonbury2000 due to the reduced number of people coming over the fence. Roll on next year!
